Our Production Facilities

3 Facilities with the Highest Standards

Having a wide range of products, Bilim Pharmaceuticals carries out its production activities in three production facilities operating in Gebze and Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zones.

We carry out our production activities with approximately 1000 employees in our facilities operating in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone and Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone.

Our Gebze Production Facility, which was designed and built in accordance with FDA standards and has European Union (EU) GMP approval, was commissioned and started operations in 2008. Our facility manufactures products in solid (tablet, film-coated tablet, dragee, capsule, sachet, dry powder suspension), liquid (syrup, suspension, drops, lotion) and semi-solid (cream, ointment, pomade and gel) forms.

Commissioned in 1998 and having European Union (EU) GMP approval, our Çerkezköy Penicillin Production Facility manufactures penicillin group oral solid (tablet, film-coated tablet, dragee, capsule, dry powder suspension) products.

In our Gebze Sterile Liquid Products Production Facility, which was approved by the Ministry of Health and started its activities in 2019, we manufacture Nebul Inhaler products in solution and suspension form.

ÇERKEZKÖY PENICILLIN PRODUCTS PRODUCTION FACILITY

Our Çerkezköy Production Facility, one of the most important and largest penicillin group products production facilities in Turkey, started its production activities in 1998. Located in the Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone, our facility has a closed area of 12,000 square meters. Our Çerkezköy Penicillin Production Facility holds ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certifications.

Production at High Standards

With its full range of building automation features, it produces at a quality to compete in international markets and exports to many countries with GMP approvals from many health authorities, especially the European Union (EU). It is possible to list the systems that will make it possible to define our facility as a smart factory as follows.

Environmentally Friendly Systems and Approaches

Our environmental approach and practices in our facility are based on protecting the natural resource needs of today and the future. Our Çerkezköy Penicillin Production Facility is equipped with infrastructure systems that are environmentally friendly and ensure the location of natural resources in accordance with EU regulations. The main environmentally friendly practices at our facility, which has received environmental awards from the Ministry of Environment, Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Çerkezköy Chamber of Industry, are listed as follows.

Within the building automation system, automatically controlled functions have been created to reduce energy use,
With HEPA filters with high impermeability in ventilation exhaust systems, no pollutants are allowed in the exhausted air,
In dusty production processes, the air sucked in from each room is passed through automatically controlled dust collectors,
Solid wastes are collected in accordance with the solid waste management procedure and disposed of in incineration facilities approved by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization with approved transporters with no negative impact on the environment,
Heat losses are prevented with insulation systems that minimize heat transfer.

GEBZE PRODUCTION FACILITY

Our Gebze Production Facility, which is one of the largest pharmaceutical production facilities in Turkey in terms of the product forms it produces, was designed in accordance with the standards of the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration), one of the most important health authorities in the world, and started its production activities in 2008.
Our facility is one of the most technological pharmaceutical production facilities in Europe, built on 60,000 square meters of land in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone, with an indoor area of 65,000 square meters.
Our Gebze Production Facility holds ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certifications.

Our Gebze Production Facility, which was designed in accordance with FDA regulations, performs production at a quality that will compete in international markets with its automation level provided by computerized systems in the production process, full-scale building automation features with smart building feature, and exports to many countries with GMP approvals from many health authorities, especially the European Union (EU). Environmentally Friendly Systems and Approaches

Our environmentalist approach and practices in our facility are based on protecting the natural resource needs of today and the future. Our Gebze Production Facility is equipped with infrastructure systems that are environmentally friendly and ensure the positioning of natural resources in accordance with EU regulations. The main environmentally friendly practices in our facility, which was awarded the Environment Award by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, are as follows.

Within the building automation system, automatically controlled functions have been created to reduce energy use.
With HEPA filters with high impermeability in ventilation exhaust systems, no pollutants are allowed in the exhausted air.
In dusty production processes, the air sucked in from each room is passed through automatically controlled dust collectors.
Solid wastes are collected in accordance with the solid waste management procedure and disposed of in incineration facilities approved by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization with approved transporters with no negative impact on the environment.
Heat losses are prevented with insulation systems that minimize heat transfer.
The cooling towers required to meet the cooling needs of all indoor areas were selected as closed type towers, which have high technology and higher investment costs than open type towers. Thus, water consumption for cooling purposes was reduced by 85% compared to open towers.

Fully Automated Unmanned Warehouse System

Our fully automated unmanned warehouse system has a capacity of 11,400 pallets and is 38 meters high and is the highest warehouse in Turkey operating with this technology. All pallets are managed by fully automated robots, cranes and conveyors. With this system:

Efficiency and speed in warehousing and shipments have been increased,
GMP compliance has been increased,
Risk of material mixing is avoided,
Work accidents and risks that are common in conventional warehouses have been eliminated

STERILE LIQUID PRODUCTS PRODUCTION FACILITY

Approved by the Ministry of Health and commenced operations in 2019, our Sterile Liquid Products Production Facility has a closed area of 2,800 square meters. Our facility is designed to accommodate the need for capacity increase both by adding machinery and equipment to the machinery park in the existing building and by expanding the building. Our Sterile Liquid Products Production Facility has ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certificates.

Both the infrastructure systems and the production machinery and equipment of our Sterile Liquid Products Production Facility were designed and realized together with the companies that use the most competent and advanced technologies in the world.
In our facility, we manufacture Nebul Inhaler products in solution and suspension form. BFS filling machines, which are the heart of our facility, are currently the filling machines with the highest filling speed and capacity in the world.
